Mumbai: Vivek Oberoi gave the prestigious award ceremony a miss to be with wife Priyanka Alva at the hospital in Bengaluru.
Vivek Oberoi is a doting husband and his family is his first priority. The actor was recently conferred with the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation award for his excellence, dedication and versatility. Vivek was quite excited to attend the prestigious award ceremony held in Mumbai but decided to give it a miss as he wanted to be his wife’s side that time as she was due on delivering their second child in Bengaluru.
A source informs, “Vivek had also booked his tickets to Mumbai to attend the awards ceremony. But he preferred to be by Priyanka’s side.” Besides Vivek, Shah Rukh Khan, Huma Qureshi, Rajkummar Rao, Shreyas Talpade and Tiger Shroff were also felicitated with award at the event.
