Sunday saw a glittering turn out at the Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai for the finale dinner of ‘A Taste of Heaven’ a weekend Pop up experience put together by Raaj Sanghvi, Founder and CEO SANGUINE in partnership with the Four Seasons Hotel. The pop up which had been supported by brands like Yes Bank, Mercedes Benz Auto Hangar, La Cave Fine Wines and Grey Goose featured the world renowned restaurants Ministry of Crab and the Japanese restaurant Nihonbashi (both ranked a part of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list by San Pellegrino) and founded by the half Japanese half Sri Lankan celebrity chef Dharshan Munidasa. The limited capacity pop up over three days received overwhelming response with all meals completely sold out.

The finale night on Sunday saw a glittering celebrity turn out to taste the food of Kaema Sutra, a Sri Lankan cuisine restaurant Co-founded by Chef Dharshan Munidasa and actor Jacqueline Fernandez.

Jacqueline who was out of the country shooting sent in a special welcome video for the guests saying, “Sri Lankan food has been an important place in my life, I’ve grown up on it with a lot of fond memories. Thank you all for being here tonight . Sri Lankan food is about sharing, entertainment, laughter and having fun.”

The guest-list included Shaina NC, Bindu Kapoor, Noshir Talati, Alex Kuruvilla, Ashiesh Shah, Shobhaa De, Rahul Bose, Jackie Shroff, Simone Arora, Ajay Arora, Saiyami Kher, Pooja Hegde, Aadar Jain, Parth Pawar, Atul Kasbekar, Farzana Contractor, Bandana Tewari, Greg Foster, Aman Dhall, Anil Dharker, Samir Datani, Upen Patel, Pooja Shetty Deora, Simone Singh and Sri Lankan Consul General Saroja Sirisena.

Chef Dharshan Munidasa said, “This is the first time I am coming to India with all three of My kitchen brigades from Nihonbashi, Ministry of Crab and Kaema Sutra. This pop up was envisaged by Raaj Sanghvi as he once ate through all three of the restaurants in two days. Glad to be doing this with Sanguine and Raaj and sharing what I love doing in Colombo.”
