Ali Fazal has just returned from a world tour of his leading Hollywood debut, Victoria and Abdul directed by Stephen Frears. The film based on the book by Shrabani Basi has Ali in the titular lead role paired opposite none other than the Queen of acting, Dame Judi Dench. The film is releasing in India next week and a screening was held in Mumbai for Ali’s close friends from Bollywood. Ali hosted the screening with people like Taapsee Pannu, Richa Chadha, Kalki Kochelin, Soni Razdan, Angad Bedi, Mallika Dua, Kaneez Surka in attendance.
The film has been well received across where its released so far in the UK and the US especially.
