Young gun Varun Dhawan is promoting his upcoming rebooted Judwaa 2, which stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu but here comes a real shocker, the “ABCD” superstar is collaborating with Shoojit Sircar directorial “October”.
Shoojit Sircar has roped in Varun Dhawan and newbie Banita Sandhu in upcoming drama October.
Excited Varun Dhawan shared the picture with newbie, he captioned, “#October @ShoojitSircar @ronnielahiri #juhichatruvedi #BanitaSandhu #varundhawan.”
Banita Sandhu hails from United Kingdom and would be making her debut of sorts opposite Varun Dhawan.
Veteran Producer Ronnie Lahiri, who earlier produced Pink in collaboration with Shoojit Sircar also confirmed the news on social media. He wrote, “Meet #BanitaSandhu who’ll b seen wth @Varun_dvn in #october the film dir by @ShoojitSircar written by @writeonj and produced by yours truly”
The film will be written by Juhi Chaturvedi, who earlier wrote Vicky Donor and Piku in collaboration with Shoojit.
“October” marks the first ever collaboration between commercial star Varun Dhawan and content driven filmmaker Shoojit Sircar and we are excited.
As far as Judwaa 2, the movie is directed by David Dhawan, the film is an official remake of Judwaa, which starred Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha.
Judwaa 2 is slated for 29th September 2017.
