Finally the much awaited “Tumhari Sulu” is out with its official poster starring Vidya Balan, who will be seen playing the role of a radio jockey.
Film producer Atul Kasbekar released the first look poster on social media. He captioned it, “Here we go then…Our next production #TumhariSulu featuring @vidya_balan in a ‘name above the title’ kinda role #MainKarSaktiHai”
The first look poster is funny and quirky. Actress Vidya is seen hiding her face behind gift hampers and a bag full of vegetables. She is seen wearing a red saree. Apparently she will be seen juggling a lot of roles in the film.
On the poster, the makers also announced the actual ‘first look” of Vidya Balan, will be out on 14th September, as actress face is not visible in released poster.
Vidya Balan (Sulochana a.k.a. Sulu) essays the role of a night radio jockey in Mumbai and the movie chronicles her chaotic yet adorable life. The film is a comical slice-of-life film for the youth and families.
Vidya Balan essays the role of a beautiful, enthusiastic and happy-go-lucky Mumbai housewife whose routine life changes when she unexpectedly lands herself with the exciting job of a night RJ (radio jockey) on a leading radio station.
The film stars ace theatre actor Manav Kaul as Vidya Balan’s husband, Neha Dhupia as Vidya’s Boss, and renowned RJ, Malishka, as Albeli Anjali.
Tumhari Sulu is a comedy-drama, which is directed by adman Suresh Triveni. In the film, Vidya will be recreating Mr. India’s popular song Hawa Hawai.
It is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
