Akshay Kumar created quite a buzz about Padman after releasing the official poster and stills from the film and veteran Anil Kapoor is totally impressed with it!
After tackling cleanliness and hygiene issues with “Toilet Ek Prem Katha” actor Akshay Kumar along with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte are all set to tackle the issue of sanitary pads in upcoming Padman.
Anil Kapoor took to his social media account and hailed the movie. He wrote,

Padman, the film is inspired by the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a Tamil Nadu-based social activist, who revolutionised the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine.
The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in the lead role.
Sonam Kapoor, who is working with Akshay Kumar for the first time in Padman, expressed that working with actor was a pleasure. She wrote on her social media account,

The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo role. The film is directed by R Balki and slated for 26th January 2018 release.
