Critically acclaimed music composers Sachin Jigar are just not busy making music for the movies in the studio these days. We got to learn that the dashing duo are creating a special multi lingual deovtional track for India’s billionaire industrialist power couple Mukesh and Nita Ambani for their annual Ganpati celebrations.
A source close to the development states, “ Sachin Jigar like the Ambani family belong to the Gujarati community hence a lot of the songs on their playlist will include Gujarati numbers since Nita Ambani is known for her love of the folklore. However to appeal to the guests SachinJigar will also entertain on their Bollywood renditions
When we contacted Sachin Jigar for a confirmation they stated, “ Yes we will be performing at the Ambani residence for 1.5 hours but our set is a complete surprise package.It will be a mix of tradition and contemporary keeping the sensibility of the event in mind. Infact we have so many memories attached with Ganpati that this festival becomes very special to us and everything we do during this festival is auspicious. Its the 50th year of ganpati celebrations at Jigar’s residence.Every year there is a mini jam session at our old home where Amit Trivedi Priya Sarvaiya Divya Kaushik Shruti Pathak come over to sing and merrymake. Rakesh Roshan has been a guest over the years as a tradition.”
Additionally Jiigar his father and his uncle visit at least 10 to 15 homes where they sing devotional songs as a goodwill gesture. It was during Ganpati that Sachin met Jigar and decided that Jigar would sing for the band
On the professional front Sachin Jigar got the whos who of Bollywood singing to their tunes from Sanjay Dutt to Parineeti Chopra to Siddharth Malhotra. Sachin Jigar who are winning hearts with their back to back chartbusters, have a packed schedule with full album compositions for Bhoomi, Raabta, Simran, A Gentleman, Parmanu and Haseena.
