Mumbai: Jay Bhanushali started his career as an actor on the small screen and gradually became a popular household name after his hosting stint in the popular dance reality show, Dance India Dance (DID).
Though he missed hosting DID Supermoms this year considering his film commitments, he’s set to host the new season of the dance reality show – DID Season 5. At the recent press conference, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty who judged the show as Maha Guru, stated that he’s glad to see Jay back as the show host.
A source says, “Mithun da got emotional while talking about Jay. With his moist eyes, he admitted that Jay and his wife Mahii Vij even visited him in the hospital when he wasn’t keeping well.”
Jay informs, “I have huge respect for Mithun da. We share a great rapport and our association is beyond Dance India Dance. I’m glad to be hosting DID again and looking forward to more laughter and fun on the show since Mithun da has amazing sense of humour.”
