Mika Singh who is famous for singing peppy songs in Bollywood films will be now trying his hands in a completely different style of music. He is bringing a new concept which will feature popular as well as upcoming artists who are looking for a platform for singing songs which will be very different from their earlier style of singing.
“Old Is Gold” is a project conceptualised by Mika Singh, produced by his company, Music & Sound in association with Saregama. A set of 27 unplugged recreations of classic evergreen Hindi songs with a taste of romance and melancholy have been chosen. Various reality show winners like Sahil Solanki, Raman Kapoor, Srishti Bhandari, Akira, Jyotica Tangri and others will be giving their glorious voices to the timeless melodies. Mika Singh himself has given his voice to a couple of songs that are different from his regular style of singing.
“Old Is Gold” will be released on Music And Sound channel on 7th November, 2017. The first episode will feature Indian Idol fame Rahul Vaidya singing vintage melody ‘Chaudvin Ka Chand’.
