Mumbai: Amit Sadh, who shot to fame with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che, will be seen playing an eccentric Haryanvi character in Subhash Kapoor’s quirky comedy Guddu Rangeela. To prepare for his role, Amit was asked to perfect the language.
A source informs, “Amit left no stone unturned to learn the nuances of the language and religiously prepared for it. The actor also underwent acting workshops with Subhash to get the diction correct.”
Amit says, “Since I play an absolutely wacked-out character in Guddu Rangeela, I had to get the right Haryanvi accent for my character and preparing for that was fun. I’m thankful to Subhash who really helped me get the right Haryanvi diction”.
