Ali Abbas Zafar ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has Katrina Kaif playing an undercover ISI agent ‘Zoya’ for which she trained with intelligence officers and similar agents.

In the 2012 release, the actor went de-glam and won hearts as she shared the screen with a RAW agent Salman Khan. Now back after 5 years, the actress will be doing her share of some amazing intense action sequences

We already knew that Kat trained for the action sequences with Hollywood’s stunt directors Tom Struthers and Buster Reeves.
But while talking about Katrina’s role in the movie, Zafar revealed in a statement, playing a superspy isn’t easy, Katerina has really pushed herself for the part. “It was essential to understand how such agents think and operate. So, we got Katrina to train with intelligence officers, used their expertise and experience. Katrina has really pushed herself for the part. She has also gone the extra mile to train in important nuances like aggressive hand-to-hand combat. The action that Katrina has done looks very real onscreen, despite being mounted on a grand scale.”

The director also shed light on how she trained with similar agents, “For instance, as agents, you have to train a certain way to keep your mental balance in direst situations. Say you face someone who has a gun and you don’t. How do you still stay neutral and calm, and figure out the best possible way to counter and survive in such a situation.”

Apart from her rugged look, during the filming days of Tiger Zinda Hai, Katrina herself shared her other looks from the movie.

Recently director Zafar, shared a character poster on twitter of Zoya with a caption stating, “Zoya, if eyes could kill #Katrina Kaif @TigerZindaHai”.

Shot across various destinations in Austria, Greece, Morocco, Abu Dhabi and India, the sequel of Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger will release on December 22.
