While shooting for her forthcoming film, Veere Di Wedding in Delhi, Swara Bhaskar got recently injured on the set.Filming for Bollywood’s first major chick flick, Veere Di Wedding alongside superstars Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, Swara injured herself on set, while shooting for a song in the movie.
The versatile actress, who was wearing heels at the time, tripped and twisted her ankle so severely that it resulted into a hairline fracture. Known for her professionalism, the talented actress will be shooting for two more days to finish the shoot, despite the injury.
A source informs, “Swara sprained her ankle while shooting for a song and found out that she had a hairline fracture after being medically examined. She didn’t want the film’s schedule to be stalled because of her, so she continued shooting.”
Having garnered critical acclaim for her films, with a Screen Award for Best Actress – Critics for Nil Battey Sannata and Femina Woman Award for Best Breakthrough Performance for Anaarkali of Aarah, Swara Bhasker is in the best phase of her career.
