Deepika Padukone was spotted at the 3D version trailer launch of forthcoming epic historic drama Padmavati and during her media interaction hailed it as a milestone in Indian cinema as well as world cinema.

“We are very proud to present the 3D version of that Trailer today, which again is a huge milestone for us as a team, for Indian cinema, and cinema for the world. I feel like this movie deserves that and we’re so happy to present this to all of you” said Deepika at the 3D trailer launch of Padmavati.

Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions hosted a special press conference to launch the 3D trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.

Deepika Padukone along with Ajit Andhare (COO, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures), Shobha Sant (CEO, Bhansali Productions) and Namit Malhotra from Prime Focus were present at the Launch.
The theatrical trailer for the film was released recently and it has crossed an unprecedented milestone of 50 million hits on the video-sharing portal and actress Deepika Padukone expressed it is an emotional journey.

“And I think it has been an extremely emotional journey for all of us. Especially after we launched the trailer I think the response and the reactions were absolutely overwhelming. I think Sanjay sir and all of us, just literally did a group hug. We couldn’t get over how overwhelming that feeling was and from all of you as well” said Deepika.
Talking further about the film, Deepika Padukone candidly admitted that Padmavati is different than all her other films and this feeling comes from her gut.

“I have to say it’s been a while since I have been so nervous. I can’t remember the time I was so nervous. I think it is the function of the fact that in all the movies that I’ve done, I feel there is something about this one. And it is not from the heart, it is not from the head, it is from the gut, it is coming from a completely different place” added Deepika.

The movie also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Raza Murad and Jim Sarbh in supporting roles. The movie is slated for 1st December 2017 release.
