Deepika Padukone was spotted at Fever 104 Fm to promote her upcoming ‘Padmavati’ and the film’s first song Ghoomar on Tuesday. During an interaction, she stated the toughest part of Ghoomar was to emote Padmavati’s feelings.

While Ghoomar was the film’s first song shot and released, it was also where the film began shooting. Deepika stated had a hard time expressing her emotions, “The song does not have any loud steps or big screen they are delicate and fragile steps but at the same time to emote and reach out to the audience was the toughest experience I had.”

Deepika was welcome by the Fever 104 team with a Ghoomar dance on a select few songs of the actress. Deepika also joined the team for fun and performed a few steps herself.

During an interaction, she said, “Ghoomar was the very first thing that we shot. It was a difficult task because I had just begun to understand her (Padmavati), how she lives, dances or talks to other people, about her mannerism. I was straight away thrown into the song, it wasn’t easy.”

The film, Padmavati is based on a book ‘Padmavat’. The film is a fictionalized account of the life of Rani Padmini, a legendary Hindu Rajput queen. The cast includes Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh.

The movie presented by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions, is scheduled to release this year on December 1, 2017.
