Kaala, special film, Huma Qureshi

Actress Huma Qureshi attended special shoot of Miss Diva 2017 along with Lara Dutta on Friday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, Huma stated that her upcoming film Kaala with super star Rajnikanth is very special for her.

Talking about the shooting of ‘Kaala’, Huma said, “I am going to have 48 hour work today for ‘Kaala’ but I am looking forward to it. I am all charged having lots of coffee. I am very excited to be on ‘Kaala’s set. It’s a very special film for me.”

When asked her shooting experience with Rajnikanth, Huma said, “I am still getting used to it. ‘Kaala’ is very beautiful script. When I heard the script, I was like, I have to be part of this film and of course, working with Rajnikanth sir is dream come true. In life, you get very few opportunities that you should grab with both your hands. I am very fortunate and blessed that I am working with him. Film is releasing next year and this is our final schedule so all of us are trying to do our best job”

Talking about Miss Diva 2017 contest, Huma said, “I am very excited to be part of this show. This concept is there for a longest time in India. Indian beauty pageant contestants always bring lot of accolades for our country. For all these girls, this is their first step. They are first time facing camera and meeting people. I think all of them are already a winner because to come at this stage is really an achievement in itself. They all are young and talented girls and I am sure that they are going to make India proud”.

When asked her what tips or guidance she wants to give to all contestants of this pageant, Huma said, “I am also learning. It’s not that I have so much of experience to share with them. I will just say whatever you do give all you heart and passion. Make good friends along the way because ultimately, blessing of your friends, near and dear ones, family takes you far. Professional ups and downs keeps coming and going. Success and failure nobody can predict. In our world, how successful you are it sort of shows that how right or good you are which is not true. You just keep doing your thing and inshallah one day success will come”

She added, “One thing I can share with them from my journey is to be yourself because I feel that’s very important. India’s beauty is that, here people can come from different religion, regions and strata of society despite that, this country allows to work on your potential be it in any field. One important thing is to be yourself and don’t try to fit-in with everybody and don’t be afraid to stand-out”.
