The Stardust Achievers Awards in aid of Acid Attack Survivors by Hothur foundation, took place at St. Regis Dubai on 21st September, 2017.
Stardust Achievers Awards is an endeavor to recognize, acknowledge and celebrate the success stories of Global Indian achievers by Stardust magazine. These awards celebrated the triumph of Indian excellence in varied fields like Sports, Business, Media, Films, Fashion, Arts , Television and Politics.
Among the luminaries and proud recipients of these prestigious awards, was Huma Qureshi who was awarded the Breakthrough Performer of the Year at the Stardust Acheivers Awards.
Huma Qureshi has been on a career high as she recently made her big international debut with Gurinder Chadha’s Viceroy’s House and also added the blockbuster Jolly LLB to her prolific list of films. Having received rave reviews for her performance in Viceroy’s House and working with industry superstars like Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth , Huma smoothly make the transition from being a breakthrough powerhouse performer, to a successful commercial leading actress.
At the award ceremony said Huma Qureshi, ” It’s really wonderful to receive this award and very encouraging”.
