Ahead of the 71st Independence Day on Tuesday, actress Additi Gupta says it’s a fun a moment in every person’s life to enjoy freedom.

Additi, best known for her roles in shows like “Qubool Hai”, “Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil” and “Ishqbaaaz”, has recalled her favourite Independence Day moment.

“It was our 50th Independence Day when me and my friends took a workshop of making 50 small hand badges of National Flag and on the day before flag hoisting we pinned it up to 50 peoples,” Additi said in a statement.

The actress said she is keen about doing the same on 100th year of Independence Day also.

“Even when it will be our 100th Independence Day, I’m sure I will plan something similar and will increase the number of badges to 100 from 50. It is a really fun-filled moment to enjoy our freedom,” she adds.

Additi is a creative person who enjoys decorative and fine arts.

“Born as Indian, I feel blessed and has got the opportunity to take ahead our tradition of celebrating. India has always believed in hand-craft stuff and has got it special and exclusive value. Making such badges takes me to cloud nine,” she concludes
