Athiya Shetty was recently approached by a Non-Governmental Organisation that works for the welfare of the girl child to associate with them.
The talented actress riding high on the success of her last release, Mubarakan, is keen on lending her support for a noble cause and has agreed to collaborate with them.
If sources are to be believed, “The NGO helps underprivileged girls to make clothes for a living. The money raised will be used for their education. Athiya will also contribute in buying sewing machines that will be used by the girls to make clothes.”
When contacted, Athiya says, “The most precious thing you can give them is your time. Through this venture, I would get to know their stories and also try to motivate them in whatever way I can.”
