The reviewers and audience lauded the powerhouse performer for his impeccable portrayal of a contract killer in the thriller, solidifying his reputation for his craft.
Considering the commercial success of his latest gripping drama, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother, Shamas Siddiqui gifted the actor a black Mercedes SUV, celebrating his latest victory.
Surprised at the gesture, Nawazudddin says, “I did not expect Shamas to get me such a lovely car. It probably is the most expensive gift I have ever received. I have concentrated on my work, never focusing on the perks, but, this is special. I will cherish it.”
Elated at the response his last film amassed, the actor adds, “Though it is an offbeat film, it was liked by critics and viewers. I’m glad it is reaching the masses.”
Having planned to gift his brother a car for a long time, Shamas felt the success of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz brought the perfect opportunity to surprise him. He says, “Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is his first solo hit, so, I realized that this was the right time to gift him a car.”
