The veteran actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui adds another feather in his cap, turns co-author of his memoir, which releases online on 25th October.

The memoir titled “An Ordinary Life: A Memoir”, which chronicles the life of Nawazuddin Siddiqui whose meteoric rise in the Hindi film industry as a critically acclaimed actor is what dreams are made of, hardcover copy releases online on 25th October.

Nawazuddin shared the hard-copy cover on social media along with pre-order link, He wrote, “Time for a new role. As d author of An Ordinary Life, my memoir. With @PenguinIndia @ReadRituparna. Pre order now!”
The memoir has been co-authored by journalist and writer Rituparna Chatterjee.

The memoir chronicles struggle of Nawazuddin from a small-town Budhana in Muzzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, and turning into one of Bollywood’s most sought-after actors and a versatile performer with a strong grounding in theatre.

However, the journey to fame and fortune was far from easy for the actor who went from being a manager at a petrochemical factory in Haridwar to a watchman in Delhi. This memoir is a celebration of his life.
An alumnus of the National School of Drama, Nawazuddin has proven his mettle with his acting prowess in films like “Black Friday”, “Peepli Live”,”Bajrangi Bhaijaan” and “Manjhi – The Mountain Man”.

National Awards winner actor Nawazuddin had six releases in 2017 alone, movies like Haraamkhor, Raees, Mom, Munna Michael, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, and Cabon.

Next, the actor will be seen in the biopic of poet Saadat Hasan Manto, titled In Defence of Freedom.
