From the time Arya Babbar has made his debut in the movies, people have been waiting for him to team up with his dad Raj Babbar. 2018 is the year when viewers this wish will be granted as the duo will be seen playing father and son in the upcoming Punjabi movie Anakh.
Both Arya Babbar and Raj Babbar are very excited about this project. Commenting about the development, Arya Babbar said, “We have been meaning to work together for a long time but I guess it was destined to be this late. I am very happy that the wait is finally over.”
The first look of the movie was out about a month ago and showcases phrase like Sher V/S Babbar Sher! From the looks of it, it seems that the father-son duo pitted against each other and it will be an intense drama, which will be a treat to watch. It has been observed that the audience feels a certain connect with real life fathers and sons playing the same relation on-screen as well. It will be very interesting to watch father son duo pitted against each other.
It is to be noted that actor-politician Raj Babbar also started his movie career with a Punjabi movie, Chan Pardesi . This paved way for his Bollywood career and there has been no looking back for him. In Anakh, we will be seeing him in an intense role.
The movie is yet to go on floors and the hunt is on for a female actress who will be essaying a powerful role. Anakh is slated to be released later next year.
